How To Store Home-Made Flavored Olive Oil

If you plan on making flavored olive oil from home be sure to be more sensitive with storage. It doesn't last as long as those purchased from a store and they should be refrigerated as opposed to store-purchased olive oils, which do not need to be refrigerated.

You should think about eating the home-made version within a few weeks or a month because they tend to go rancid faster especially if not stored properly.

First of all, you don't want to waste anything you've made at home since you've put some time and effort into making your own infused olive oil. Second, it might be hazardous to your health to eat anything that's gone bad.

Be sure to use a very clean bottle to store your olive oil.

Any olive oils that you purchase from a market should be fine as long as it's used within the time that's appropriately label on the bottle.
