Looking For "Misto Olive Oil Sprayer"?

Here Our Review of
Misto Olive Oil Sprayer
- - Customer Feedback - -

Many chefs are using spray oils for their cooking. One reason is that using olive oil sprayer enables them to use less oil thereby reducing the total amount of fat that goes into a dish.

You can even mix canola oil with olive oil into a sprayer (1 part olive oil and 3 parts canola oil). Canola oil is a great cooking oil since it can withstand high heat. Mix that with olive oil, which adds fabulous flavor and you have a wonder fusion of two oils.

Misto olive oil sprayer is great for spreading olive oil evenly on bruschetta, focaccia, and grilled or roasted vegetable. This dispenser is a great gadget.

A plastic cap underneath the sprayer's top twists off so the sprayer can be half-filled or 1/3 cup with oil.

Push the top up and down to pump air pressure into the canister. Then spray for 10 seconds and pump up again. It's simple, ingenious, and practical.

Made of satin-finish aluminum with a black-band accent.

Pros:

  1. Works great, especially with olive oil
  2. Can be used for both on the grill and in the oven.
  3. Gives a light and uniform coating of olive oil to the veggies.
  4. Makes it a snap to apply a thin, even layer of oil.
  5. It is also handy for greasing pans.

Cons:

  1. If you pump it up too much, the oil mists too well.
  2. You'll get a light coating of oil on whatever you're spraying.
  3. Fill it only half way to release pressure and avoid clogging.
  4. Oil can get rancid if you leave it in for more than a few weeks.
