Any Home Remedies for Hangovers?

How to prevent a hangover?

Did you know that olive oil is one of the best home remedies for hangovers?

I remember those college days when we'd visit the college bar scenes.

Invariably there would be many college students who would look forward to getting drunk after a heavy week-long study sessions. I was one of them. It was great fun but the day after was usually hell.

It's only when it's too late that you'd try to cure the hangover with the few pills of pain relievers. Only if I knew of this natural olive oil pain reliever back then, I would have had some better days.

These days I love a glass of wine every now and then. I know I'll never have a hangover again. But I'll know how to help the others when in need.

How to prevent a hangover with olive oil

The olive oil prevents hangover as the oil delays alcohol from entering the bloodstream so quickly. Of course, for some the objective of drinking alcohol is to get drunk. But then again, everyone loves a good buzz but I don't think anyone enjoys a real hangover.

If you'd like to prevent hangover or at least reduce the effects of alcohol, try taking 2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil before going out. That should do the trick.
